This is a large bold monotype print on beautiful handmade paper. The red figure is running out of the image suggesting escape from the mundane or breaking barriers.

Monotypes are original one of kind works of art made by developing a plate with ink and then using a printer to create an image. Claire also cut out forms and inked the shapes(printing the paper again) to add drama to the the inked image. This print uses the beautiful surface of the handmade paper.
